Platform rules · updated September 18, 2026

How Facet works, in plain words.

Facet collects small pieces of human judgement and everyday recordings to help build and evaluate AI models. This page explains what we collect, what we do with it, what points are, and what they are not. By creating an account or submitting anything you agree to these rules.

1. What you contribute

  • Quick answers: choosing the better reply, picking a category, rating on a scale.
  • Media tasks: short videos, photos or voice recordings made by you, following a written brief.
  • Written answers: short text responses to a prompt.

Every task shows its format, the number of points and any limits before you start. You decide what to take on.

2. What happens to your data

  • Account data: your e-mail, display name and password hash. If you connect a wallet, its address. We use them to run your account and, where enabled, to pay you.
  • Contributions: your answers and uploads, with the time of submission and the review decision.
  • Use: approved contributions become part of datasets used to train, fine-tune and evaluate AI models. Datasets may be used by the operator, licensed to partners, or published for research.
  • Anonymity: datasets never include your e-mail, name or wallet address. Contributors appear as a numeric id only.
  • Who can see uploads: only you, the reviewers and administrators of this platform. Uploads are stored on the operator’s servers.
  • Withdrawal: you can ask for your account and contributions to be deleted at any time by writing to the contact published on this site’s official social profile. We delete them from the platform within 30 days. Contributions already included in a dataset that was delivered to a partner or published cannot be recalled from that copy.

3. Rules for contributions

  • Submit only your own original work. No stock footage, no copies from the internet, no material you do not have the rights to.
  • No other people in photos, videos or recordings unless they have clearly agreed. No children. No documents, screens, licence plates or anything that identifies a person.
  • Answer honestly. Some quick questions are attention checks with a known answer; wrong answers earn nothing and two failed checks in a day pause quick answers until the next day.
  • No automation, scripts, multiple accounts or account sharing. One account per person, and you must be at least 18.
  • Reviewers may reject a submission that does not follow its brief. Rejections always come with a reason, and you can submit again where the task allows it.
  • Repeated or deliberate abuse leads to account closure. Points on a closed account are forfeited.

4. Points

  • Points are an internal record of your approved contributions, kept in a ledger you can see at any time.
  • Points are recorded only after approval: instantly for quick answers, after review for uploads.
  • Points are not money, not a security and not a token. They have no cash value and cannot be bought, sold or transferred between accounts.
  • The operator may announce a way to convert points into a payout. Until such an announcement is published on this page, nothing is owed for points, and no conversion rate is promised.
  • Points you have already earned stay in your ledger. The operator may change how many points future tasks award.
  • Streak bonuses: answering on consecutive days earns one-off bonuses at 3, 7, 14 and 30 days. They are recorded in the ledger like any other points.

5. Payouts

  • Approved payouts are made in FACET on Robinhood Chain to the wallet address you verified, or by the payout details you saved.
  • The minimum balance for a payout request is 500 points. One open request at a time.
  • Requests are processed by the operator. Each payment is recorded in your ledger as a negative entry, with the transaction reference where one exists.
  • Verify the token contract shown on your Wallet page against the block explorer. Facet never asks you to buy, approve, send or bridge anything, and never messages you first about a “claim”.
  • Any taxes on payouts are your responsibility.

6. Your account

  • Keep your password to yourself. Everything done from your account counts as done by you.
  • A verified wallet is only used as a payout destination. Connecting it never grants the platform any access to your funds.
  • You can disconnect a wallet or change payout details at any time on the Wallet page.

7. Changes and contact

We may update these rules. The date at the top changes when we do, and material changes are announced inside the app. Questions, deletion requests and complaints: the contact published on this site’s official social profile.
